Happy Monday everyone!
After what seemed like non-stop rain, wind, and just downright ugly weather in the ATL, I think the sun has finally decided to come out and play...for good! (I've been waiting so long for this!) It's time to bring my short skirts, shorts, and dresses out of hibernation, and work on regaining a little bit of Vitamin D and color to my oh-so-pale-and-pasty complexion!
Speaking of short shorts, I am
polka dot scalloped shorts from ModCloth. There's something about a scalloped hemline that makes clothes look so feminine yet flirty. I must admit, I was a little apprehensive about getting them--not only did ModCloth have no reviews for the shorts, but I also heard that their sizing can be a little inconsistent. However, being that they were only $35, and that ModCloth offers free returns and exchanges, I figured what have I got to lose?
Nothing, apparently. The fit couldn't have been more perfect. They're fitted, yet comfortable enough where I can eat a meal and not feel like I'm going to bust out of the seams. Definitely going to be a staple in my Spring and Summer wardrobe. Did I also mention that these shorts have polka dots? All the more reason to love them.
What do you think about polka dots and scalloped hemlines?
