my 'new' vintage Salvatore Ferragamo scarf--it's so versatile and can be worn a million ways! Today I decided to wear it as a halter top. I still get a little self conscious when it comes to showing a lot of skin, especially when I'm going backless and I'm not at the beach, so I wore a blazer to hide the open back. Hopefully I'll get over it one day.
In my opinion, there is absolutely nothing wrong with buying vintage (pre-owned, pre-loved, second-hand, whatever you want to call it) items, as long as they're in great condition, authentic, and from a reputable seller. This scarf was from
, an online vintage luxury curator site. Think of it as Gilt or Hautelook, but for used designer goods. I've been looking for a red scarf for quite some time now, so when I found this and saw that it was in excellent condition, I knew it was destined to be mine.
